Does it work without internet?
Yes. OwnRfid is offline-first: records are saved on the device and synced in the background. A dead zone never stops a stock-take.
Which devices are supported?
Any Android 7 or newer phone or tablet, plus popular rugged terminals from Zebra, Honeywell, Chainway, Urovo, Datalogic and Unitech.
How do I activate?
Install the app and start the free 7-day trial, then buy a plan on this site. Enter your device Installation ID at checkout and the licence is issued to that device.
What is an Installation ID?
A unique identifier shown in the app. It ties a licence to one device, so a licence cannot be copied to another phone.
Can I move my licence to a new phone?
Yes. Create a backup key in the app, then restore it on the new phone — your activation and your data come back.
Is my data safe?
Licences are signed, storage is encrypted, and backups are encrypted with a key that only your own app can open.
How long do plans last?
You can buy 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year or lifetime. A subscription can be renewed at any time.
